If you’ve been following me at all, you might know that things have not been so great with me.
You can read my latest posts to find out a bit more but let’s just say I’m going through something and am on a journey.
But I’m not going to dwell on that too much other than to say that I haven’t been feeling that inspired to write about our date nights,
or our lack thereof should I say.
With it being holidays, me going through whatever I’m going through, my husband having a possible relapse of glandular fever,
date nights have taken a bit of a back seat and with it, it seems our relationship as we’ve hardly spent any time on our own together.
However, we decided to go out on Monday night as sometimes you just have to do it even though things might be feeling a bit crappy.
And while I can’t say it was the best date night from a relationship perspective, from a food perspective, it was lovely!
We started off with a walk on the beach.
It was a beautiful evening and although I was a bit reluctant at first, my hubby had planned the evening and I’m glad he put this on the agenda.
A walk on the beach is always good for the soul.
We then went to the restaurant.
It is a beautifully decorated restaurant, with a white palette and splashes of natural wood which prevents it from being stark.
Personally, I love this look so it was right up.
The only thing, however, was that it was sweltering hot inside,
so much so that we had to move outside to the bar seats facing the road.
Less romantic but way more bearable.
So, if you go on a hot summer’s evening , if you can’t sit outside, I would wait for a booking until you can.
We had the pancakes to start which was delicious.
The cake was soft and tender and was beautifully spiced.
The accompanying complemented the spice really well.
I had the lamb cutlets with chick pea and sundried tomato mash…delicious!
The cutlets were deliciously tender and tasty,
one of the best I’ve had.
I loved the combination of the mash with it and even better that it wasn’t a starch like potatoes.
Even the tomatoes on my plate were beautifully presented and tasty.
Hubby had the chicken pie which at first glance looked a bit measly but was actually quite rich and more than enough food.
He had the parmesan stack to accompany it and enjoyed his meal thoroughly.
We were way to full for dessert so decided to listen to our aching bellies and forego it this time.
The decor of the restaurant sets the mood for what you imagine would be a treat of a meal.
I am happy to say that we were not disappointed and I would definitely recommend it as a great, relaxed yet smart date night venue.
IT WAS MY FIRST DATE NIGHT AT THE BEST WITH GREAT TREAT
There are so many single men looking for elite escorts in Bangkok to fulfill their fantasies. you can find them here at free 1escorts.net directory.
Right, so here’s the thing with pictures.
I just can’t bring myself to whip out my phone in the restaurant and start taking pics.
I’m too self conscious about it, it just doesn’t feel right for me,
and I like my food hot.
Plus, if they’re not good pics, they do the food more of a disservice than anything else.
Maybe I’ll do it sometimes, but this was not one of those times so excuse my lack of pics but trust me,
it looked and tasted delicious! 🙂
